​Research interests 

  • Resistance to antibiotics of foodborne pathogens, such as Enterobacteriaceae that produce beta-lactamases and vancomycin-resistant Enterococcus spp. .

  • Isolation and identification of microorganisms of interest for food of animal origin, such as Salmonella spp., Campylobacter jejuni and Listeria monocytogenes.

  • Behavior of pathogens in food of animal origin and water.

  • Study of biologically active compounds in foods of animal origin.

  • Study of the antimicrobial activity of natural substances and their potential applications in foods.
